Season’s Greetings, Stanley RV Park residents and guests!
Christmas Day draws near – but the yearly parade draws even nearer!
On Saturday, December 8, the City of Midland TX will be holding the Annual Christmas Parade! All are invited to witness this vibrant display of yuletide cheer and creativity, and share holiday joy with the community.
The theme for this year’s event is Christmas in Boomtown. The parade kicks off at 6:30 P.M. from A. Street from Ventura Avenue (near Windlands Park), concluding near Midland High School. The route is a comfortable distance for those staying at Stanley RV Park and neighboring Midland TX RV parks. However, we would advise all residents and guests who are interested in watching the parade with family and friends to secure a spot early on in the day. Road closures will be in effect by 4 P.M., so best to factor in vehicular build-up as well when making plans for that day.
Since the theme changes every year, spectators can definitely look forward to something new from Saturday’s lighted parade. Last year, the City of Midland TX went with the trend and featured floats celebrating a “Merry Emoji Christmas!” It drew a sizeable crowd from different parts of the city, including Midland TX RV parks.
If you want to do more than just watch the parade, you can be in it! Just make sure to register your entry on or before 5:45 P.M. on the day of the event. Do not forget to review the guidelines and fill up the registration form, which you can download from here.
There is plenty of family-friendly activities in Midland TX this time of year, so do not fret if you are unable to catch the Christmas Parade.
